It has often been said that my graphite portraits possess a more realistic character than the photograph. I seek to bring out the unique personality of each individual when creating their personal portrait. I work from photos that I take on sight and use interview techniques to incorporate a unique touch.

My illustration style is versatile and flexible to the taste of the client. A number of styles can be seen in my portfolio, and the capabilities are endless. My creativity can be matched with the imagination of each client in order to create the results to satisfy the customer. Realism, cartooning, stylistic, classical, antique... the sky is the limit.
Mural Installation & Restoration:
Ceramic Tile & Acrylic
I have extensive experience in mural installation, both on a small intimate scale and a grand scale. The image here is an example of work I did in Los Angeles, where I assisted in the restoration of the famous Hollywood Jazz Mural on the Historic Capitol Records Building. I have installed murals on a more intimate scale in the Memphis and Takoma Park areas. My medium ranges from acrylic paint to ceramic tiles, and I can tailor the style to the taste of the client.
